About NicePonds

Established in 2017, Nice Ponds is a unique, bespoke Pond Design and Installation, Refurbishment and Maintenance company based in Sheffield, covering Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, as well as surrounding areas.

We take great pride in ‘realising our clients’ vision’ – making their dreams come true.

Our approach is to create natural, low maintenance environments, using ecologically sourced materials and, working in collaboration with our clients, enhancing lifestyles through truly beautiful garden make-overs.
We have built award winning show gardens at the NEHS at Harrogate and have achieved the highest level of Certified Contractor status with Aquascape in the US.
We like to think that our Ponds, waterfalls, and water features can adorn ANY garden, large or small (private, public or commercial).
Refurbishment of existing Ponds and our Maintenance service are both increasingly important to our business and vital in sustaining the environments we create.

Our approach is simple – we replicate nature! We design natural, organic water features that suit and enhance their environments.

Refurbishment

If you have an existing Pond or water feature that is in need of some TLC, we can help! When it comes to refurbishment, we don’t do half measures, we want to leave you with a pond or water feature that is going to be fully functional, long lasting and looking great.

Maintenance

Ongoing good practices increase the life expectancy of your pond or water feature. Once we have designed and installed (or Refurbished) your pond, regular maintenance keeps your pond looking its best for your pleasure.

Matt and Joe, of NicePonds, have constructed this beautiful water feature in my garden. My spec was for something very natural looking with falling water and small pools for the birds and widlife to enjoy. It was also important for me to enjoy the sound of running water when out in my garden. Matt did even better than that and created a delightful, falling stream which I can hear indoors when my windows are open! It is so relaxing to hear and see. As you can see from the photograph, it is perfect, it could be a stream in the peak district. Matt and Joe worked creatively, they grew the proejct on site. Great attention to detail was paid and they left the site spick and span. They are two nice young gentlemen, a pleasure to have around. I was first inspired to have a garden water feature after seeing the 'Yorkshire Garden' at the RHS Chelsea flower show, in particular the flowing brook. This is what Matt delivered, on schedule and on budget. Arriving promptly everyday and working hard on what was one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Lovely plants were added to enhance the natural look. Seeing and listening to the moving water is exactly as I’d hoped. The day Matt finished he cleared up and left everything tidy and returned the following day to check there was no problems with the waterfall.
